The Zgorigrad Disaster
On the First of May 1966 after several days of heavy showers, the wall of the dam tailing of mine "Plakalnitsa" collapsed at 11:30 am. 600 000 tons of silt, mud and zinc buried the whole region. The power of the wave flattened everything to the ground, killing more than 500 people…
The short film reached an audience of over 30 000 people on social platforms. The Project was exhibited at Menier Gallery, Central London.
